This old summerhouse had fallen into disrepair and was due to be demolished.
I came up with a design which would repair the body of the structure and then give it a more pleasing front without the expense of scrapping the whole thing and starting from scratch.
By extending the front with a verandah, what was once only viable as a shed became a focal point of the garden and a practical element of the property in all weathers.
